The Dew Tour is an American summer sports event, organized by NBC Sports and Alli Sports sponsored by Mountain Dew which focuses on extreme sports. Mountain Dew is increasingly becoming more and more devoted to promoting action sports. Participants compete in various extreme sports such as, to win medals and prize money.

The first stop

The 2015 Dew Tour season is about to begin and the first stop will be on June 20-21, in Chicago, where it will be making a return for the first time in five years. That weekend also marks the international Go Skateboarding Day. Skating and BMX street disciplines will take place in the Grant Park Skate Plaza, featuring special activities for Chicago area skaters. Dew Tour’s special return to Chicago will mark the celebrations of the opening of the Skate Plaza. The Dew Tour will also make improvements to the new Skate Plaza during its opening. In addition to the street events at the plaza, the Chicago Dew Tour will unleash street style events.
The second stop

After Chicago, the second stop will be Los Angeles. The events will take place between August 14-16 and will include everything from street style and street events. There will also be skate videos for both private and public screenings. Moreover, apart from just sports events there will be art exhibitions, music, and cultural festivals The Ace Hotel will be the main hub of the Dew Tour in L.A. The hotel contains theaters, concert venues that will accommodate outdoor competitions. Dew Tour LA will include skateboard street, skateboard street style, and other skateboard competitions.
The winter event

The last stop will be in Breckenridge, for Dew Tour’s winter event which will take place in the weekend of December 10-13. There will be a showcasing of the best snowboarders and athletes from around the world. The Winter Dew Tour comprises of three events where athletes earn points over the course of the season as they compete in snowboarding. Breckenridge Ski Resort which is one of the best winter resorts, and will once again host the world’s best international women and men snowboarders and athletes. The resort has the capacity to hold a major early-season event. Downtown Breckenridge will host to the street style competitions as well as the music festivals and more.

The Dew Tour will be available for live streaming at NBC will also broadcast the Tour over the course of the year.
